As one of my senior projects, I wanted to explore a branding project more in depth than I had been able to in previous assignments. While honing in on my technical design skills, I wanted to ensure that I also didn't lose my love of illustration - finding a balance between the two has always been important for me.
Not only does sushi have a rich history, but its minimalist tendencies served my purposes well, in terms of becoming a challenging exercise for me. Along with creating a strong and simple logo, I also created the menus for the restaurant, as well as a large poster. For my senior project gallery space, I designed a small snippet of how the restaurant might look.
